Risk Officer

Our real estate focused client is at an exciting stage, expanding its UK and other international investment management operations in applying for its first Luxembourg AIFM license . Our client has an English speaking environment, a professional approach, and though it's very well-established elsewhere, it is in an exciting “start up” phase in Luxembourg.

We are looking for a risk officer to join them in a broad and general risk role, incorporating risk assessment and risk mitigations, financial risk, compliance risk and operational risk. You will undertake a broad range of responsibilities for the AIFM, assisting the Conducting Officer Risk in daily operations.

Our client has an English speaking environment, a professional approach, and though well-established elsewhere, it is in an exciting “start up” phase.

You’ll work with the 4 Conducting Officers, and alongside a compliance professional at a similar 1-3 year PQE point.

To be considered you must:
• Speak and write fluently in English, being confident in discussions with international colleagues.
• Have excellent Luxembourg regulatory knowledge affecting AIFMs
• You will either have between 1 and up to 3 years’ experience in risk in an AIFM, or will have extensive experience but be looking to work 2 or 3 days a week.
