Portfolio Manager, Private Equity
            
            Job Description
            We are working exclusively with a client, a private equity firm, supporting them with a 
Senior Portfolio Manager to join their business and focus on primary fund investments across the US & Europe (the two largest markets globally).
They seek entrepreneurial and creative people and offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with exposure to various strategies and take the lead as a Senior Portfolio Manager.
 
Responsibilities include:
•	Work with investment managers and the Executive Management team on annual investment plans
•	Provide assessment of and guidance to investment proposals from investment advisors
•	Perform due diligence of the investment memorandum and business plan - present results of your analysis to the Investment Committee 
•	Provide summaries of investment papers
•	Coordinate tax due diligence with your interpretation
•	Liaise with internal and external legal advisors on transaction legal documents
•	Organise investment committees meetings, prepare agendas, present investment proposals and follow up as appropriate
•	Prepare and present final Investment Committee papers
•	Monitoring ongoing fund performance and present regular portfolio reviews
•	Review of complex financial models that project future earnings and profit potential
•	Assist in the management of selective specific funds as you develop your expertise
            
            Candidate Requirements
            •	Minimum of 4/5 years of Portfolio Management for an Alternative Fund Manager
•	University degree in Finance or similar
•	Practical knowledge of the Luxembourg funds market
•	Strong communication skills and a self-starter
•	You will likely have 8-12 years of career experience, including portfolio or investment analysis, portfolio management, investment management or fund management
•	You will be rigorous, organised and well structured
•	Fluent English is essential, in addition French or German will be an advantage
