CIB - Relationship Manager
            
            Job Description
            Our Luxembourg based client is looking for an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager / Business Development / Sales Manager to join their Corporate Banking team (CIB).  Prior experience in CIB in Luxembourg or Belgium is absolutely essential, as is a solid network, and a proven track record of building strong client relationships. (Unfortunately private banking is not sufficient). You will be fully fluent in English, in either French or German languages would be a real asset.
You will have a good understanding of CIB products and markets such as syndicated loans, structured finance and M&A. You will have strong credit analysis / financial analytical experience and be able to work well with the credit committee. 
The responsibilities of the role include:
•	Have a thorough understanding of the banks’ products and services, being able to communicate these effectively to clients as solutions to their requirements
•	Be able to identify sales / new business opportunities through creating solutions for your client network
•	Being commercially aware, presenting your proposals effectively to clients or to the credit committee
•	Establishing a long term relationships with clients, being able to build trust; establish new client relationships and maintain and build existing relationships
•	Deal with any issues and escalations effectively and in line with policy and procedures
•	Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal procedures, product quality and service delivery; be involved in ad hoc projects that are aligned to business strategy
•	Strive to meet your targets, maintain the reputation of the bank and conduct yourself professionally at all times
            
            Candidate Requirements
            Candidate Requirements:
•	Ideally you’ll have around 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role in corporate or commercial banking, with experience of corporate & institutional clients
•	Strong credit analysis and financial analytical experience, being able to work with credit committee
•	Strong networking skills; with excellent communication skills and ability to build strong
Relationships
•	Proactive attitude with excellent sales and negotiation skills
•	Good understanding of financial products (especially loans & structured finance)
•	A solid understanding of loan documentation
•	Fluent English is a must, plus additional French or German are advantageous
