Senior Fund Controller - Real Estate AIFM

We are pleased to support a real estate investment manager in Luxembourg. They are looking to hire a Senior Fund Controller at Senior Manager or Associate Director level for the AIFM, to manage, coordinate and supervise various investment structures including funds and underlying holding companies.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage the financial reporting and accounting of investment companies
• Build relationships with service providers and coax them to partner with you to provide an excellent service
• Liaise with the asset management team and deal teams supporting with financial information relevant to enabling them to understand cash positions and support new deals
• Supervise and oversee financial statements and quarterly reporting
• Oversight of regulatory reporting
• Oversee cash management and assist with funds flow approval
• Support colleagues with the liquidation of investment companies
• Take Board Director positions
• Oversee corporate governance of various vehicles

• 10+ years of experience in Luxembourg working with investment companies
• A good broad knowledge of alternative investment funds knowledge is essential
• Real estate strongly preferred, or also private equity, infrastructure or private debt
• Very strong Lux GAAP, with knowledge of IFRS an advantage
• French language skills very useful
• Good IT skills (Excel particularly)
• Experience “in-house” working for an AIFM is needed
• Experience outside of pure accounting is important as you will manage the corporate governance of various investment vehicles
